Lc. Amethysto Beat x C. Brabantiae `El Toro`, AM/AOS
Always striving for vigorous growers and prolific bloomers, this is one of our newest combinations. Amethysto Beat is Lc. Drumbeat, a classic winter lavender, crossed with C. amethystoglossa, a bifoliate species that contributes spots, strong spikes and a high flower count (10 - 15 flowers per stem). Married to our C. Brabantiae `El Toro`, AM/AOS (Gene Crocker at Carter and Holmes Orchids received the award on a division of our plant), these new babies will produce
lots of pink/lavender flowers lightly spotted and wonderfully scented for spring.
This is our first offering of these young orchids which are about 2 to 3 years from bloming. We will ship the largest and most vigorous plants first. The photos are of C. Brabantiae `El Toro`, AM/AOS.
