Cattleya maxima is a species from Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. This lowland type is a relatively compact plant and blooms in the winter to early spring. These are established divisions of our stock plant which is a very good bloomer. The photos are of this particular C. maxima `Venice`.
